We did it.
Yesterday, we signed an agreement to build our new house in Chester Springs, about an hour outside of Philly. I love the wooded lot we picked out. Now I can trampoline naked with the curtains wide open and nobody will know.
Thundering bass, now try to find me.

House Hunting
Wednesday, December 22nd, 2004 | The House | 2 Comments
Wifey and I are starting to get the hang of house hunting. Saturday and Sunday mornings we chart our course and out we go. We load into the mobile command center with our maps, brochures and packed lunches.
We managed to find some nice newly constructed homes that fit into our White Zinfandel budget. It’s hard having champagne taste. I hated hearing that we’ll have to spend an additional 10% and 20% of the base price on some things we assumed came standard with the house. The sales associate quickly brought us to reality as we toured a model last weekend:
“Wow, this looks great. We love the granite countertops in the kitchen.”
“That’s an option.”
“Oh. Well, the hardwood floors are nice.”
“That’s an option too.”
“What about the interior lights?”
“All optional.”
“Do we at least get a front door?”
He just grinned.
